Tunnel of Love Bookmaking Class

Hands-on bookmaking art classes in the Book Arts studio! 

It’s a book. It’s a diorama! It’s both! We’ll make both a maquette and a completed romantic tunnel book to celebrate the season. (You can also make a non-lovey-dovey book, should you prefer!)

A tunnel book uses two identical accordion folded spines, facing in to provide the main structure. Images that have holes cut out in them are attached to the folds. The cut outs allow you to see through each page of the book to the page behind and are designed to give the structure depth. This book folds flat but expands into a 3D scene.
